Big Spoon Roasters
Mark fell in love with the freshly made peanut butter in Zimbabwe during his time with the peace corps. He wishes he had the idea for Big Spoon Roasters at that time, but the idea didn’t come until 2010. After whipping up some of his own peanut butter based on how the natives make it in Zimbabwe, Big Spoon Roasters was born. The company now produces more than 10 varieties of nut butters, which are sold at more than 50 purveyors in North Carolina alone, in addition to 37 other states, the District of Columbia and in Tokyo.
