David uses local, seasonal ingredients to create a range of exciting, German-inspired dishes that are best described as modern, upscale comfort food with a German twist. Since the early 90s, David has been an intrinsic part of the Triangle’s culinary scene. His career has included positions at some of the area’s most popular restaurants, including Crook’s Corner, Pop’s, Acme, 411 West and Watts Grocery. In the fall of 2009, he introduced the new dinner service at Guglhupf, expanding its strong reputation as a foodie destination.
