Event Description

Join us for a truly unique evening of delicious food with thoughtfully selected wine pairings. Two noted area chefs, two wine masters & a pastry chef will present a memorable opportunity to learn about wine by letting you have some participatory fun in the process.

Your evening will begin with an appetizer and a wine toast. You’ll proceed to a seated 3-course meal, including a surf-and-turf entrée, with accompanying wines hand-selected by the wine masters, before concluding with an amazing dessert from A Sweet Little Something Patisserie.

THE MENU (Designed to delight your palate & challenge the wine experts!)

Chilled Carrot-Tumeric Soup
Buttermilk Ice, Pistachio Oil
NC Clams, House-made Guancali, Caramelized Onion, Sunny Slope Farm Tomato, White Wine, Herbs

Surf & Turf
Pan Roasted Scallops, Hen of the Wood Mushroom, Fresh Peas, Summer Truffle
Miso-Goat Cheese Glazed Lamb, EuCcPea Puree, Apricot Chutney

Pistachio Almond Frozen Nougat
Marinated Sweet Charlie Strawberries, Violette Cassis Coulis, Honey Tuile
You’ll learn more about each wine and why each it was selected. Here’s where things get exciting: You will then choose your favorite wine with each course, putting the two masters in competition! Don’t worry, everybody wins at this dinner (most of all, the diners); but we’ll get to see which master’s wine choices were most enjoyed at the end of the evening.

Book early for this special evening, as participation is limited to 50 attendees.
